- acute generalised exanthematous pustulosis
- drug rash w/ eosinophilia and systemic symptoms
- reversible or irreversible hearing impairment
- deafness
- tinnitus
- severe anaphylactic or anaphylactoid reactions (eg w/ shock)
- Stevens-Johnson syndrome
- toxic epidermal necrolysis
- increased liver enzyme
- cholesterol and triglyceride serum levels
- Serious cardiac arrhythmias
