Adult Dose

Dose: Oral – 5 mg
Frequency: at night
Note: increase to 10 mg if necessary

Age: Elderly and debilitated patients
Dose: Oral – Half normal adult dose
Frequency: at night

Child Dose

Indication: Infantile spasms
Age: Infants
Dose: Oral – 125 mcg/kg
Frequency: twice daily
Note: gradually increase to 250-500 mcg/kg twice daily

  • May be taken with or without food
  • Take just before bedtime
