Adult Dose

Indication: candidiasis
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral suspension or drop – 100,000-600,000 U (1-6 ml drop)
Frequency: four times daily
Note: Keep in contact with affected area as long as possible. Continue for 48 hours after clinical cure to prevent relapse.
Indication: Intestinal candidiasis
Age: Adult
Dose: Tablet or oral suspension/drop – 500,000 or 1,000,000 U
Frequency: 3-4 times daily

Child Dose

Age: Infants
Dose: Oral suspension or drop – 2 mL/dose
Frequency: every 6 hours
Note: by mouth (oral), to coat oral mucosa
Age: Children
Dose: Oral suspension or drop – 4–6 mL/dose
Frequency: every 6 hours
Note: by mouth (oral), to coat oral mucosa
Administration
  • May be taken with or without food
  • Swish in mouth before swallowing
