Adult Dose

Indication: Prevention and Treatment of Secondary Hyperparathyroidism associated with Chronic Kidney Disease (Stage 3 and 4)
Condition: parathyroid hormone less than 500 pg/mL
Dose: Oral – 1 mcg
Frequency: once daily
Note: Titrate dose based on response. Do not administer 3 times per week dosing more frequently than every other day.

Dose: Oral – Baseline intact parathyroid hormone (pg/mL) divided by 120
Frequency: Three times weekly
Administration
  • May be taken with or without food
  • Take at same time each day
