Adult Dose

Indication: Chronic hepatitis C
Age: Adult
Condition: Ribavirin with peginterferon alfa 2b
Dose: Oral – 800 mg/day (400 mg morning and 400 mg evening)
Frequency: daily
Note: Administered with peginterferon 1.5 mcg/kg/week subcutaneous injection.
Indication: Chronic hepatitis C
Age: Adult
Condition: Ribavirin with peginterferon alfa 2b
Dose: Oral – 1000 mg/day (400 mg morning and 600 mg evening)
Frequency: daily
Note: Administered with peginterferon 1.5 mcg/kg/week subcutaneous injection.

Child Dose

Indication: Chronic hepatitis C
Age: greater than 3 years
Dose: Oral – 15 mg/kg/day
Note: plus peginterferon alfa-2b 60 mcg/m2 subcutaneously every week; Length of treatment determined by genotype; genotypes 2 or 3 administer for 24 weeks, for genotype 1 is 48 weeks
Indication: Chronic hepatitis C
Age: greater than 3 years
Dose: Oral – 400 mg
Frequency: every 12 hours
Note: by mouth (oral); plus peginterferon alfa-2b 60 mcg/m2 subcutaneously every week; Length of treatment determined by genotype; genotypes 2 or 3 administer for 24 weeks, for genotype 1 is 48 weeks
