About Dose.bd

Dose.bd is a free medicine reference for Bangladesh. It lists over 25,000 registered medicine brands, 1,600 generic ingredients and 280 pharmaceutical manufacturers, with each brand's retail price in Bangladeshi taka, its active ingredient, dosage, side effects, precautions, pregnancy safety and alternative brands with the same formula.
The site is written for patients, pharmacists, doctors and medical students, in English and Bangla. Dose.bd does not sell medicines and does not accept payment to change what a medicine page says.
Where the data comes from
Brand, manufacturer and price data come from the Bangladesh drug regulator. Clinical content comes from regulator-approved product labels. Every medicine page lists these sources at the bottom.

Editorial policy
- Medicine pages are built from the sources above. Dose.bd does not publish dosing advice that is not found in an approved label or a recognised clinical guideline.
- Brand pages show the generic ingredient's clinical information. Brands with the same ingredient, strength and form share that information; the brand page adds the manufacturer, pack size and price.
- Prices are the retail prices listed with the regulator. Pharmacy prices can differ.
- Advertising and sponsored placements are labelled and kept apart from clinical content. Advertisers cannot edit or review medicine pages.
- Found a mistake, an outdated price or a missing medicine? Email [email protected] or use the missing medicine form. Reported errors are checked against the original source and corrected.
