Adult Dose

Indication: Allergic conditions Symptomatic relief of allergy, such as hay fever, urticaria (Pruritus)
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – 4 mg
Frequency: three times daily
Note: Adjusted as necessary. Usual: 12-16 mg daily in 3-4 divided doses. Maximum: 32 mg/day.
Indication: Treatment and prophylaxis of migraine and other vascular headaches (Off-label)
Age: Adult
Dose: Oral – 4 mg
Note: May be repeated after 30 minutes. Not to exceed 8 mg within a 4- to 6-hour period.

Child Dose

Dose: Oral – 2 mg
Frequency: twice daily or three times daily
Note: Maximum: 12 mg daily

Frequency: twice daily or three times daily
Note: Maximum: 16 mg daily

  • Can be taken with or without food
  • Take with meals to reduce stomach upset
