Adult Dose

Clinical InformationAdministration Information
Indication: Bleeding episodes in patients with haemophilia
Age: Adult
Dose: Intravenous – Initially, 90 mcg/kg
Frequency: initially every 2-3 hours
Duration: up to 3 weeks or more in cases of serious bleeding episodes
Note: Given via intravenous bolus over 2-5 minutes. Additional dose may be given as needed to achieve or maintain haemostasis. May adjust dose or dosing interval according to response.
Indication: Bleeding episodes due to surgery or invasive procedures in patients with factor VII deficiency
Age: Adult
Dose: Intravenous – 15-30 mcg/kg
Frequency: every 4-6 hours
Note: Given via intravenous bolus over 2-5 minutes until haemostasis is achieved.

Child Dose

Indication: Congenital hemophilia A or B with inhibitors, acquired hemophilia, or Glanzmann's thrombasthenia
Dose: Intravenous bolus – 90 mcg/kg
Frequency: Every 2–3 hours
Duration: until hemostasis is achieved
Indication: Congenital Factor VII deficiency
Dose: Intravenous bolus – 15–30 mcg/kg
Frequency: Every 4–6 hours
Duration: until hemostasis is achieved
