Adult Dose

Indication: Antisialagogue or for antivagal effects
Age: Adult
Dose: Injection – 0.5 mg to 1 mg
Frequency: initial single dose
Indication: Antidote for organophosphorus or muscarinic mushroom poisoning
Age: Adult
Dose: Injection – 2 mg to 3 mg
Frequency: repeated every 20-30 minutes
Note: Initial single dose

Child Dose

Clinical InformationAdministration Information
Indication: Anesthesia Premedication
Dose: Dose – 0.02 mg/kg/dose
Frequency: 30-60 minutes preoperatively; then every 4-6 hours as needed
Indication: Anesthesia Premedication
Dose: intravenous/intramuscular/subcutaneous – 0.01-0.02 mg/kg
Note: no more than 0.4 mg
